Finally have had a day off so I can get this up to date.

Thursday night at like 3am, Andrew and I were awoken to my phone ringing. It was his mom calling to tell us to come back to his apartment asap. When we got there, there was 4 cop cars out by his car. Apparently someone had gotten into his car and stolen his cd player. The cops caught the person and tracked it back to Andrew's car. So Andrew had to identify which one was his, the person had stolen more then just one. He got pretty lucky that they were able to get it back, and that he hadn't stolen any cd's, checkbook, and anything else in his car. I guess they told him he won't be getting it back for a couple of monthes or so. That sucks.

Not to much else going on right now, just been working the past couple days. I went to Jamies graduation party on Saturday night after work. It'd be cool if we can hang out more once she's going to school here in Des Moines.

Definitely time for an update.

So you wonder what have I been up to since I last posted. Well i've been very busy. I moved out to Des Moines the 1st of April. I got my own little apartment, it's cute. Andrew lives just up the street, so it's been working out great for us. I got a new job at another veterinary clinic as an assistant. It's called Bryan Animal Hospital. The website for the clinic is www.bryananimal.com if your interested in viewing. I have Spencer living with me, and now I also have Andrews calico cat Patches staying here as well.

As far as any other updates, I really can't think of anything at the moment. Wedding plans are going slow but I plan on kicking up into gear here soon.

This is all i've really got planned... I've got a lot of work ahead of me, i'll keep you posted on anything new that comes up.

Well... well... well... It's been a long time since this thing has been updated. I don't even know where to begin, so much has happened since the last time I updated this journal, it's crazyness I tell you.

About a month or so ago, actually a little longer then that. Andrew and I were in the Best Buy parking lot, and someone decided to back out of their spot while my car was behind theirs, and hit me. What a mess that started. So that same weekend we went and got some estmates on what it was going to cost to get it fixed. The guy who hit me cut me a check for what it was going to cost. So I took the car in, used a rental car for a week, and got my car back, everything was paid for. You wonder, what's wrong with that... Well i'll tell you what went wrong.

The day after I had gotten my car back I was pumping gas into it, because after work I was going to make a trip out to Des Moines... Low and behold, there was a screw in my tire, from when it was being worked on, they ran over it in the shop. Sooo before I went into work I took it to a tire place to have the tire patched. The previous place who had worked on the car, agreed to pay the 15 dollar repair fee. You think, well, thats no big deal... However...

I drive out to Des Moines, I arrive just fine... however the ride home wasn't so fine. I had gotten halfway home (Tama) and i'm going down Interstate 80 at 75mph... And my front right tire decides to fly off. Rim and all... All my lug nuts had fallen off somehow, and my tired bounced away behind me. Some man who was following me was kind enough to pull over to see if I needed any help. Since there was no way for him to put a spare on my car he took me to the first exit and called my parents for me. My parents got there about an hour and a half later. We had to wait another 3hrs to get a tow truck out there to tow the car. They towed it back to CR and we dropped it off at the shop by my work. So it took me another week for me to get my car back... Things are going okay with it now, however I still have a dent in my car from when the front crashed down on the road. I'm just not going to sweat it.


Newer news, most of you who do in fact read this will already know. But a week ago Andrew asked me to marry him. I of course said yes. What had happened was we went out for our Vday dinner early since Vday was going to be a crazy/busy day. We got all dressed up and we went to Barattas (italian). Afterwards we went for a drive, and he took me to this park that overlooks the downtown area and the state capitol. Of course everything looked super pretty, and was all lit up since it was night time. And he just kind of looked at me and talked to me. Then he asked me if i'd marry him. It was a very exciting night. Everybody in my family knows, and are excited about it. His mom seems pretty happy with it. We went and got my ring last night. It's sooo pretty.. I'll try to post some pictures later.

For tonight, after Andrew gets off work, i'm making him a Vday dinner. Which will be Steak shish kabobs, twice baked potatoes, and grilled asparagus with garlic and butter.

Once again I was suppose to work today from 2-6 as a receptionist. TJ called at 7:45, wanting me to come in to be a tech.. This time I called back at 9. Might as well get some extra hours and extra cash. Maybe she'll even let me leave early on Friday...hmm...

Anyways I shall go laze around some more before reporting for work.

Yay for caller ID on cell phones! I worked today 12-6 as a technician. Which is nice, I get to sleep in. Well TJ my manager calls me at 8am, I don't answer of course. She wanted me to come in early. Nope, don't think so.

As for tonight I think i'm going to do more laundry and organize my room a bit. It's getting messy in here.

Okay since there was some interest expressed in me updating, i'll try my hardest to update more often. Sometimes life gets crazy and it's hard to find the time. Sometimes I have to wonder if people really care what i'm up too.

As of Oct 1st I'm officially 21, woo hoo! Here's a recap of what's happened since then.

Thursday Sept 29th I drove out to Des Moines, Andrew gave me present number 1, which was a super cute Happy Bunny poster that says Hi Loser. Which I still need to get a frame for so I can hang it up.

Friday night (Sept 30) Andrew and I went out to Bennigans for Karaoke. I got to meet Amanda's new boyfriend Rob. Kind of an interesting fellow to say the least... Then when we got back to the house he gave me my 2nd gift since it was technically after 12am and Oct 1. He got me a really pretty bracelet from Helzberg Diamond. It has Tanzanite stones and two diamonds. So pretty.

Saturday (Oct 1) I slept in really late, got up finally at 10:30 and rushed out to Van Meter to meet my parents for a bday lunch with my extended family. They made me a chocolate cake. Then I went over to my moms side of the family for a little bit. I left about 5pm, and headed back to Andrews. He cooked me a dinner. He made manicotti, he's an excellent cook. His mom made me a marble cake so we had that for dessert. Marble cake is my favorite, his mom is sooo nice. After all that Andrew and I escaped from the house and Amanda's new boyfriend for awhile. We went out to Grays lake for a nice walk, and got to talk about alot of things. Then we went over to Walmart and bought booze for later. Later that night we ate chips and salsa and washed it down with Boones Farm Strawberry Margarita, Captain Morgan and coke, and some Miller Light.

Sunday (Oct 2) we got to sleep in. I really don't remember to much about Sunday.

Monday (Oct 3) I went home, thats about all I really remember.

Friday (Oct 7) Andrew came out to CR, since I got home from work at 1, I cooked some spaghettie, Popcorn shrimp, Butterfly shrimp, clam strips, and a salad to top it off. I had my whole immediate family over for dinner as well as Amy. After dinner my two sisters, my brother in law, Andrew, Amy, and I went to Reynaldos and I had two Margaritas. Then we went to the Longbranch for karaoke and I had a bottle of Smirnoff. Then we went to the Clarion for more karaoke and I had beer. It was a crazy night. Got home and to bed at 2:30am.

Saturday (Oct 8) I had to work from 8-2. Which sucked major. I had a bad migrain. But I got to listen to a cool song that James left me on my phone. He's so cool. Then Saturday night since Andrew had to leave while I was at work, I went out to Des Moines. I got back on Monday Afternoon. Since then i've just been working.

Now that i'm all caught up, lets hope it stays that way.

Okay, so I deleted a few entries. I was sort of hoping to be able to start over on a clean slate with this thing but there is no way to delete all your entries but keep the same account. So I gave up on the deleting entries thing.

Wow am I lost on where to start updating this thing. So i'm living at home with my parents. For those of you reading this and only know what I have said in previous entries that may be nothing new. Well for the past 3 monthes I have been living in an apartment with two people whom I thought were my friends, now I have to question if they ever really were. I was a bad person the whole time I lived there and if I could go back and change anything it would be never moving out in the first place. I pushed away all my real friends for these two people, and it turned out crappy in the end. I'm just glad that my true friends are the ones that stick by your side no matter what. Now that they don't want anything to do with me i'm happy my real friends are back in my life.

So it's been another one of those weeks where you really don't have anything to post about but feel as though you should in case someone might be reading this... Which is highly unlikely.

I got myself a new phone, it's a keyocera slider, I like it alot.

Went out a couple of nights ago and played a few games of pool, it was pretty fun, I actually won at least one game, I wasn't really counting.

Mostly been working, I worked yesterday from 1-10, today its 10-4, so hopefully today isnt' too bad.

Today I worked from 11-5 again, the day seemed to drag on forver. Towards the end I had this awful migrain, was messing up almost everything, and I kept getting the shakes and it was hard for me to write. It was like my body needed an energy source or something.

For dinner we had the baked spaghettie, garlic dinner rolls, and pesto salad I made last night. It tasted pretty good.

I also went to Walmart and bought the finishing pieces to my holloween costume. Not quite sure what you'd call it, but i'll be fun.

Sunday night my sisters and their families came over to our house. We had dinner then ate the butterfly bday cake I decorated earlier in the day. Then I opened my presents. From my parents I got a camera (not digital), My sisters went into a present together. They got two butterfly car seat covers to match my steering wheel cover, and a butterfly window decal. Later Amy came over for some cake. Then we watched Freddy vs Jason. Then we took that back to the movie store.

Monday I worked from 10-4, nothing too exciting happened. I bought some scrap book stuff. I actually got a few pages done. I got my baby page, casey's page, and my two family pages done. Then Amy came over and we headed out to Walmart. I bought a blue/black spider to put in the car for Holloween, a big tub for my scrapbook stuff, and some face wash. Then we came back to my house to watch my movie American Beauty.

Today I work from 11-5 (I should leave). Then I think Amy is coming over tonight to watch The Real World and maybe Laguna Beach.

Hmm lets see here...

Thursday I made up candy bags for people, I think I may take some to my family... Amy and I bought cake decorating materials at Michaels. Then went over to Factory Card Outlet where we bought some blue glowstick bracelets to wear for my bday party. I also bought a button that said "Kiss me it's my bday" I guess Factory card was kind of a waste of money...

Yesterday I laid around the house all morning, then finally took a shower and decided to go over to Edgewood Animal Hospital to pick up my final check that they had waiting for me. Went to the bank and deposited it. Knowing I wasn't doing anything for my bday, since previous plans fell through. I went and spent the money I had been saving for it on 3 movie rentals, and then I went over to Best Buy and bought 2 movies: Beaches and American Beauty. Came home called Amy, we went to The Spring House so I could redeem my free meal for my bday. She got me a DVD and a CD. She got me the movie My Girl, and the Linkin Park Meteora cd. Afterwards we decided to go take a friend a treat bag and visit him for awhile to see if he was up for anything since he was home on a Friday night. He seemed less interested in seeing us. So we left. Then we decided to go over to Alex's breifly since he had a gift for me. It was a butterfly oil lamp. Then we went back to my place and made some popcorn and watched two of the movies I rented, Supersize Me and Panic Room. Then Amy went home and I went to bed, but I couldn't get to sleep, I was let down in some small way. Kind of sad that the bday button and bracelets got put into a dresser drawer unopened, your bday comes once a year, gotta wait a whole year before I can use that button now.

Today I got up at 10... Watched My Girl and took a bath. Now i'm just doing laundry and sitting here updating this. I decided against going to Faith's wedding, just wasn't interested in going. My dad at lunch today told me that it gets expensive me living here but I need to find ways to make more money so I can get out on my own. Yeah, I feel really wanted here now...

Yesterday I worked 10-4. I had my one year review, that went really well. They basically evaluated me all the way around, and there was comments. I met all the expectations and exceeded some of them. I got a small raise. I went from 6.75, to 6.95. Not to bad I guess...

Last night Amy and I went to the mall where I got some cute money shoe laces at Hot Topic, I saw some other neat stuff but I'm trying hard not to spend money. I almost bought a shot glass at Spencers that says: "I look sweet and innocent".

Today I worked from 9-3. I have this massive migrain. I'm really not sure what to do with the rest of the day. Amy works tonight from 4-close, so it'll be the first night in awhile she hasn't come over or wanted to do anything. Right now my plans consist of watching The Real World. Maybe bleaching my shoes and putting my new shoe strings in.
